The cherry tree is such a cute place! The rooms have this great old charm and felt really cosy. The staff were so friendly. Loved the lil chocolates they left in the room and it was super nice that they're pet friendly too. Plus, there was plenty of parking, a definite win!
The only downside was that the room was a bit small and could've used some more plugs for charging my gadgets. The shower temp was a lil hard to control.

Just a decent option for a brief stop-in in Abingdon-on-Thames with really good value. The food was delicious, much better than standard pub food. Try the pork belly-it's a real treat!

The place was lovely small and exceptionally friendly, nothing too much trouble, would recomand. It was a useful base for one night, had good time. The local staff were attentive and very attentive. I liked toast and breads in the morning. The hotel has excellent location just off Oxford and the surrounding area, a traditional pub, and the garden.

The unique charm of the old coaching inn adds a cozy vibe, and the beers and ales selection is definitely worth a try. The courtyard garden offers a nice spot to relax, especially if you're enjoying the outdoors.
Access to the rooms via the fire escape can be a bit dodgy if you're not light on your feet. Maintenance issues like broken fixtures and temperature control in the showers are real downers. Plus, if you're in room 4, be prepared for disturbances from late-night revelers right outside your window. The noise can be disruptive, especially if you plan to crash early. Some people have also noted the need for cleanliness in rooms while others mentioned overcooked vegetables and limited breakfast options-definitely some improvements needed.

Just wish the shower was better and had fluffier towels. Breakfast was a sweet start to the day.

Is it really that good? My take
The room we stayed in was quaint and had a lovely character. The extensive selection of beers and ciders made for a good evening!
Noisy guests in the courtyard detracted from an otherwise enjoyable atmosphere, making it difficult to relax after a long day.
